Cagliari forward Victor Ibarbo won’t rule out a move to Massimo Cellino’s Leeds. “We’ll see what happens.”
The Colombian international is known for his lightning pace and is more of an assist man than a pure hitman, scoring four goals in 27 Serie A games this season.
The 23-year-old was asked whether he would follow club patron Cellino to England.
“I have a contract with Cagliari, so I’m not thinking about it,” Ibarbo told Unione Sarda newspaper.
“Leeds? We’ll see what happens.”
Cellino completed his takeover of Championship club Leeds United and spoke of a “synergy” between them and Cagliari, so several players could move across.
