Beppe Iachini believes Sassuolo’s crucial match with Benevento is ‘the most difficult of the season’ for his team.
The Neroverdi are only three points above the relegation zone but will be favourites when they host the seemingly doomed Streghe this afternoon.
However, Iachini wants his players to treat Roberto de Zerbi’s team ‘as if they were Milanor Napoli.’
“I think it’s fair to say that the most difficult match of the season awaits us,” the former Palermo and Udinese boss commented.

“Benevento aren’t the team they were in the first half of the season. They have players of great technical quality.
“De Zerbi is doing important work with the team and is giving them identity.
“I have told my players it will need the perfect game in terms of concentration and organisation, as if we were playing Napoli or Milan.”
