Empoli Coach Beppe Iachini had “huge regrets” after a 3-3 draw with Parma, as “there are always distractions and you pay for those in Serie A.”
The Tuscans were trailing three times at the Stadio Castellani, largely against the run of play, but kept fighting back for a point.
“We play good football, create chances, but there are always distractions and you pay a heavy price for those in Serie A,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“The lads are well-organised, we know Parma are dangerous on their travels because of the counter-attacks, but we also conceded three goals today on set plays. That is down to distraction, because we had worked on these situations during the week.
“We had deserved to go in front, and yet found ourselves behind three times. We get a point, but there are still huge regrets at this result.
“There are some incidents you can’t prepare for in football, but with us there are situations we should be ready for and we get distracted. This is Serie A, you must be concentrated for 95 minutes and be consistent.
“The positive is the spirit with which we fought back, our refusal to lay down and the determination showed to get back into it three times.”
