The proposed swap deal involving Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain and Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata is reportedly picking up pace.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport and Premium Sport, the exchange ‘can happen’ as they are interested in bringing back Morata, while Higuain has been made available for transfer.
Furthermore, Maurizio Sarri – who was behind the Argentine’s best individual season at Napoli – would want a reunion at Stamford Bridge.

Furthermore, Maurizio Sarri – who was behind the Argentine’s best individual season at Napoli – would want a reunion at Stamford Bridge.
However, it is warned a deal can only happen if Chelsea appoint Sarri, at which point negotiations between the two clubs can ‘properly proceed’.
Morata scored just 15 goals for the Blues last season as he struggled for form and fitness, while Higuain has failed to fire the Bianconeri to Champions League glory in two campaigns.
