Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic has suggested that star man Hernanes will not start in Tuesday’s game against Udinese.
The midfielder is struggling with fitness and Petkovic looks like he’s decided to do without the Brazilian international.
“If he is not 100 per cent then I won’t risk him,” the tactician stated. “He’s only at about 60 per cent and, after speaking with him, he could begin on the bench.”
The capital club will go into the Stadio Olimpico clash in decent shape after a win over Roma and a 0-0 at Juventus.
“We have a good tradition against Udinese, the team is ready and in good shape. We want to take as many points as possible this season and our home form gives me hope.”
The Biancocelesti have only dropped five points at the Olimpico all season. “If we beat Udinese then we can make an excellent impression right up until Christmas.”
