La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that the 31-year-old has reached an agreement with the Nerazzurri to extend his current deal until 2019 after being convinced by the project and new signings.
The paper believes the goalkeeper’s salary will rise from €2m to €2.5 plus bonuses per season and that it will be formalised towards the end of the transfer market.
