Samir Handanovic’s agent confirms he’d like to renew with Inter, but “we need to see if an economic agreement can be reached.”
The Slovenia international has been linked with Roma and Liverpool after being consistently one of the best performing goalkeepers in Serie A.
“Samir has a contract which expires in 2016 and we’ve lately had a couple of meetings with the Nerazzurri to understand what both parties want,” agent Federico Pastorello told laroma24.it.

“Samir has a contract which expires in 2016 and we’ve lately had a couple of meetings with the Nerazzurri to understand what both parties want,” agent Federico Pastorello told laroma24.it.
“There is the desire to renew and the rapport with the club is excellent. The player would like to remain, but we need to see if an economic agreement can be reached.”
Pastorello was asked about the repeated reports of interest from Roma.
“I did recently meet Walter Sabatini, but he asked me nothing about Handanovic. Obviously, they could be tracking him and are looking for a future goalkeeper, as Morgan De Sanctis is getting to a certain age.
“Personally, I have not received any requests or contact from Roma for Handanovic.”
