Marek Hamsik has extended his contract with Napoli until 2016 after President Aurelio De Laurentiis added his signature during a flight to Milan.
The Slovakian put pen to paper on new terms yesterday afternoon and the Azzurri chief completed the paperwork today during a trip to northern Italy.
Hamsik, one of the Three Tenors in Naples alongside Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani, was previously committed to the club until June 2015.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder, wanted by Milan last summer, has scored seven goals in 31 League games this term.
It is being suggested that Hamsik's wages have increased from €1.3m a season to €1.9m a campaign.
