Achraf Hakimi is lighting up Serie A at Inter, but his agent reveals Maurizio Sarri had wanted him at Napoli four years ago.
“Hakimi could’ve been a Napoli player with Sarri,” representative Alejandro Camano told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He was only 18 years old and Sarri was the coach. We were contacted by director Cristiano Giuntoli.”
Now 22, the right-back joined Inter for €40m from Real Madrid and so far this season has six goals and six assists in 30 competitive games.
