Coach Senol Gunes concedes Napoli “are the favourites, but Besiktas will be fearless” in this Champions League clash.
It kicks off at the Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
“I feel like I’m at home in Naples, especially having seen the traffic on the way to the stadium,” smiled the Turkish tactician in a Press conference.
“We know that Napoli are the strongest side in the group, but we will face off without fear in the toughest game of the first round.

“Napoli are an excellent team and play the kind of quality attacking football you rarely see. It’s tough for us, we know, but we will play better than in recent outings.
“We’ve been a little unlucky so far in the Champions League and hope to make up for it at the San Paolo.”
The hosts are also unlucky, as Arkadiusz Milik has been ruled out for four months with a ruptured ACL.
“Milik’s loss is a big problem, but Napoli have other excellent players too. They have Dries Mertens, then Marek Hamsik helps both in attack and midfield, while their full-backs are very active. We’ll need to be wary of that.
“Vincent Aboubakar will play tomorrow and we expect him to score. We changed system several times in recent matches, but the important thing won’t be the shape of the side, it’ll be the fearless approach to the game.
“Football is an unpredictable sport and any result can emerge. When I was Coach of Trabzonspor, we beat Inter. At Besiktas I’m unbeaten in the Champions League.”
