Francesco Guidolin has thanked Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo, after a vote of confidence this week.
The Zebrette have endured a terrible campaign this time around, winning just 11 matches and currently sitting in 15th place on 39 points.
But after the President backed the Coach, Guidolin has shifted focus to this weekend’s game against Livorno.
“I want to thank the President for yet another vote of confidence,” he told a Press conference.
“We are coming off the back of a bad performance last week against Torino, but we have to try and seek some sort of redemption against Livorno.
“We are the first to be critical of what we’ve done this season, but all the guys are working hard in training.
“I want the players to understand that the season isn’t over –we still have two home games to go and we have to give some sort of satisfaction to the fans.
“I think, overall, this has been our season. What’s happening saddens me deeply.
“As far as our work is concerned, nothing has changed compared to last season. It upsets me that we can’t give the fans the satisfaction they deserve.”
