“The win with Milan was important, I don’t doubt that, but it is something that belongs to the past now,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

On Wednesday night the Friulani fought back from a goal down to beat Milan 2-1 at San Siro, qualifying for the Coppa Italia semi-final against Fiorentina.

“Now we have to dive back into our Serie A reality. Parma are a tough side who are unbeaten in nine and therefore also have enthusiasm behind them. We’ve had Coppa Italia wins before followed by Serie A setbacks, so we need the utmost concentration.”

Guidolin has fond memories of the Stadio Tardini, earning a 3-0 victory here last season.

“That was a wonderful performance, as it marked the turning point from securing safety to surging towards Europe. This will be different, as Parma are in great form and we need points to get away from the relegation zone.”

Udinese are without Maurizio Domizzi, Jadson, Neuton and Francesco Benussi, while Emmanuel Badu is not 100 per cent fit.

Udinese squad for Parma: Brkic, Kelava, Scuffet; Basta, Bubnjic, Danilo, Douglas, Gabriel Silva, Heurtaux, Naldo, Widmer; Allan, Badu, Fernandes, Lazzari, Mlinar, Pereyra, Pinzi; Di Natale, Maicosuel, Muriel, Nico Lopez, Zielinski
