Palermo defender Dorin Goian is the subject of a Glasgow derby, as Rangers and Celtic chase his signature.
Centre-back Goian hasn’t quite won over the Stadio Barbera fans and is on the market this summer.
Rangers came in for the 30-year-old first with an offer of around €500,000, but it’s reported Celtic have now dived in.
It’s believed the Hoops have proposed a more advantageous financial deal to snap up Goian for the SPL.
He is a Romanian international who joined Palermo from Steaua Bucharest in 2009 for €2m, brought in by former Coach Walter Zenga.
