Toronto FC and Italy forward Sebastian Giovinco has won the 2015 Audi Golden Boot award after a record-breaking MLS campaign.
The 28-year-old scored 22 goals and produced 16 assists in a stunning debut season, after leaving Italian champions Juventus in January.
Giovinco was announced as the winner late last night, beating Columbus Crew SC’s Kei Kamara and LA Galaxy striker Robbie Keane to the award.

He becomes the first Toronto player to win the award and his haul of 22 goals and 16 assists is the most of any player in the league’s history.
