Napoli could use Faouzi Ghoulam as a way of lowering the Paris Saint-Germain asking price for Alphonse Areola.
According to Le Buteur, the Algeria international left-back is on PSG’s radar and there is good reason for the two clubs to discuss it.
The Partenopei narrowed their search for a new first-choice goalkeeper down to Areola and Udinese youngster Alex Meret.
They have so far been frightened off by the €25m asking price for Areola, whose contract is due to expire next summer anyway.

Ghoulam has just recovered from a double knee injury that kept him out for most of the season, but before that had been approached by Manchester City and Liverpool.
He could move on now, as he has a €35m release clause in his contract, but could be offered as part of negotiations bringing Areola to the Stadio San Paolo.
