Tommaso Ghirardi has said that ‘now is not the time to despair’ at Parma, despite their difficult start to the season.
The Ducali are sat in the relegation zone after the opening six rounds of Serie A, having won just the once and suffered five defeats, including at home this weekend to Genoa.
However, their President is not yet panicking and has called on others to remain calm too.

“It is not yet time to despair,” Ghirardi has told reporters this week.
“If you have to cry, do so at the end of the season, but at this time there are not the conditions in which to do so.
“Clearly we have regret for what has been achieved, since we have deserved several points more.
“But, many forget that we have been unlucky in terms of injuries, where we are missing four players of great calibre.”
