Napoli boss Rino Gattuso says he hears from President Aurelio De Laurentiis “three or four times a day” and isn’t worried about his contract with the club.
The former Milan coach has been with the Partenopei since December, and masterminded a 1-1 draw against Barcelona on Tuesday in the Champions League.
“I have a contract until the end of 2021, with an option to leave from April 30. But today there is no problem with my contract,” said Gattuso in his pre-game press conference.

“I want to work, I came here for this and to reach our objectives. I hear from the President three or four times a day. Today my priority is not the contract.
“I am good here, I get excited when I see a beautiful environment. I want to train people that want to come here. I have found great professionalism.
“I am confirmed here for six months and I knew it, with the option that the club can decide to keep me or not.
“I had other offers for one of two seasons, but I knew that coming here was an incredible opportunity to coach in the Champions League.
“There are no contract problems.”
