Gian Piero Gasperini is confident Atalanta “won’t let anyone leave between now and June”.
The Orobici beat Empoli tonight to maintain sixth-place in Serie A, and their form has led to interest in the likes of Mattia Caldara, Roberto Gagliardini and Franck Kessié.
“I think we won’t let anyone leave between now and June,” Gasperini told Sky after the final whistle.
“If there’s an opportunity we’ll try to become even stronger.

“A gift from Santa Claus? I’d ask him not to have Kessié go to the Africa Cup of Nations, but it’s difficult.”
Gasperini also reflected on his side’s performance tonight, which saw them rack up 30 shots but rely on a last-minute winner.
“We dominated the game for a long time, even in the first half. We have to be more precise in the last 16 metres, because we’re really suffering with that.
“I put Kessié on the bench so he could come on during the match, it went really well because he was crucial for us.
“Marco D’Alessandro? He’s a great player who can change games, even if I could have killed him tonight!
“He sorted it all out with the goal though, although he can still do a lot more.”
