Gian Piero Gasperini says Atalanta are confident of qualifying for the Europa League but acknowledges they are not there yet.
La Dea are currently sixth in the Serie A table, a point clear of Milan and four ahead of Fiorentina and Sampdoria.
This afternoon, they face a Genoa side comfortably in mid-table and with little to play for, but Gasperini has warned his players against being ‘too frenetic.’

“This is a very important match,” the Bergamo club’s boss told a Press conference.
“I’m not saying winning would be decisive, but it would give us the right conditions to get into Europe for the second consecutive year.
“There are four matches left, two at home and two away.
“Three points here would give us a notable boost. However, we can’t be too frenetic.
“It’s right to live these moments to the maximum because it shows we have had a great season and that we still have a lot to play for in these decisive matches.”
Gasperini added his players would take nothing for granted in the final stretch of the season.
“We are undoubtedly confident and motivated, but obviously we need to take advantage of these four matches. It will be tough but we can do it.
“Of course, we won’t commit the error of thinking we have already reached our goal.”
