“Serie A is a difficult and balanced League, so we are looking for confirmation. Cesena have already shown they are a tough nut to crack and can create numerous difficulties for us.

Sebastian De Maio returns to the squad after over a month out injured, but Gasperini is unsure about playing at the Stadio Manuzzi.

“I don’t like synthetic pitches much, as it feels like playing five-a-side football.”
