Ex-Inter Coach Gian Piero Gasperini has blasted reports he’s lined up for Parma next season. “This shows a lack of respect.”

There were numerous reports over the last few days that Gasperini was in talks to take over at the Stadio Tardini from the summer, replacing current boss Franco Colomba.

“The story about Parma is without any foundation,” insisted the former Nerazzurri and Genoa tactician on Stadiotardini.com.

“Parma have a good Coach who is doing a great job. Talking about next season now is unwarranted and shows a lack of respect.

“It is not a positive thing for anyone around the club.”

Due to the Italian rules, Gasperini cannot be employed by two clubs in the same season, so his early dismissal by Inter puts him out of contention for 2011-12.
