"I was thinking of a holiday, but when I saw the format, I realized it will not be like this," Gascoigne told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I would take my father to the island. And then the whole Curva Nord of Lazio. I loved those fans. When I see the Lazio games, I remember them singing.”
During an interview released earlier in February, Gascoigne revealed he had ‘headbutted and punched’ his dad’s dead body.
“I would take [José] Mourinho with me too. He is a fantastic man,” Gazza continued.
“Once we met and I told him: 'What a pleasure to meet the Special One'. He replied: 'You are the Special One'.
“With him, it would be an incredible experience, he has great personality".
