Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has admitted interest in Roma outcast Ashley Cole.
The left-back has been frozen-out of the Giallorossi squad, and is not registered to play in Serie A or the Champions League.
It was suggested this week that he could join Andrea Pirlo and New York City FC in MLS, but it appears a return to England could also be on the table.
“Every good player is interesting for me and Ashley is a good player,” Garde told the Guardian.

“He is someone who has experience but he didn’t play [sic] for a while now. Experience is also something we need.
“I will speak soon with the club and I’m already working on the January window. We know what we want to do.”
