Santos starlet Paulo Henrique Ganso has encouraged Inter to make a bid for his services this summer.
Leonardo is known to be a big admirer of the playmaker who is widely regarded as one of Brazil's most exciting young footballers.
He is currently recovering from a serious knee injury, but Santos are in the process of offering the 21-year-old a new contract, which will apparently lower his buy out clause.

Speaking to Globo TV, Ganso said: "There isn't a precise date for my return. Let's say that I will be ready to play again in around a month's time.
"For me, there is Inter, and it's a fantastic thing that a club like Inter want me with them.
"They are world and European champions, a club of great importance.
"It's all fantastic there. Every Brazilian who has worn the Inter shirt has then gone on to play for Brazil.
"And there is a Brazilian Coach in Leonardo. It's all perfect," he concluded.
