Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has claimed that Alexandre Pato could make his return from injury this weekend against Lazio.
The Rossoneri will look to get their campaign back on track this Saturday as they travel to Stadio Olimpico to face Vladimir Petkovic's high-flying Biancocelesti.
And the 68-year-old administrator has hinted that the Brazilian striker could be included in the squad after suffering a series of muscular injuries since August.
“Pato is much better,” he told ANSA. “He is an important player for us. We hope to have him in the squad for Saturday.”
The vice-President also commented on the club's poor start to the season, that has seen them collect just seven points from their first seven games.
“We are having a complicated time of it,” he said. “We need to recover a lot of points. Lazio are in a much better place, but we will be able to respond.
“We certainly have the means to do so.”
