Milan CEO Adriano Galliani said new Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic “is similar to Fabio Capello and we expect a good season.”
The director spoke to reporters after arriving back from the tour of China, where they beat Inter 1-0 and only lost to Real Madrid in a sudden death penalty shoot-out.
“We saw a good Milan, a really good Milan, so we are happy. We expect a good season because we really did play very well.
“We played two games without conceding a goal and that had not happened for a long time, therefore we are very satisfied.

“People asked me which Milan Coach Mihajlovic most reminded me of and I said Capello. I can see similarities between them, but every Coach has his own story.”
Galliani was also asked about reports Milan have not given up their pursuit of PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but at this point smiled and walked away.
