Adriano Galliani is “convinced” that Gianluigi Donnarumma “will be a Milan player for many years.”
The 17-year-old goalkeeper is a rising star of Italian football, pulling off a match-winning save against Juventus on Saturday to further bolster his reputation.
“I think he’ll be the heir to [Gigi] Buffon in the national team, though Buffon is still a great goalkeeper,” Rossoneri CEO Galliani told Tiki Taka.
“I hope and I’m convinced that he’ll be a Milan player for many years to come.

“Today, unfortunately, €100m players can no longer be bought by Italian clubs.
“Manuel Locatelli? The first thing to come to my mind was the similarity with [Gianni] Rivera, who scored against Juve at 18 just like Manuel.
“I hope Manuel can follow the same career.”

“I don’t think about it. My dream is Milan, and I’ll keep pushing forward until the last day. I don’t think about the closing, I think about Genoa, Pescara, Palermo and Inter.
“All my mental and physical energies are focused on Milan.”
