Filippo Galli has rejected the chance to become Pippo Inzaghi’s assistant with Milan’s first team, it’s been revealed.
The 51-year-old met with Adriano Gallini this morning at Casa Milan and was offered the opportunity to work with the first team.
However, Sky Sport Italia claim that the ex-defender has asked to stay in his current role as Head of the Youth Sector.
The news means that Mauro Tassotti is likely to remain as assistant, with Inzaghi set to replace Clarence Seedorf before the weekend.
