Gabriel Barbosa completed his transfer from Santos last month for €29.5m, but returned to play one last game in Brazil.
“I think that I’ll leave for Italy next week,” he told Globoesporte.

“I think that I’ll leave for Italy next week,” he told Globoesporte.
The surprising aspect is that the 20-year-old striker will not be alone.
He is bringing with him physiotherapist Thiago Lobo and security chief Rodrigo Claudino dos Santos, while Press officer Vinicius Viera will continue working for him from Brazil.
“I am happy to bring them with me. It is important for me to surround myself with people who I trust. I am bringing experienced people, including a physiotherapist and other figures.”
Physio Thiago Lobo has been at Santos since 2002, but is walking away to follow Gabigol to Italy.
“It’s not just a job, this is about the health and performance of the athlete,” Thiago Lobo told Lancenet.
“The idea is always to work together with the club. We won’t be giving Gabriel extra work, but rather it will be agreed and directed by Inter.
“I am moving because this is about more than money. It’s an opportunity for professional, cultural and family growth.”
Security chief Rodrigo Santos is also looking forward to the move.
“I started working with Gabriel three years ago and we formed a circle of friends. It will be a great project where I can be with my daughter and wife, learning a new culture and language.
“It’s an opportunity for professional growth.”
