Parma boss Roberto D’Aversa warns Frosinone will be tough opponents tomorrow in the Coppa Italia. “They’re in Serie B but have a Serie A squad.”
The Ducali face Alessandro Nesta’s side tomorrow, with the winners due to meet Roma in the last 16, and D’Aversa – speaking at a press conference ahead of the tie – is expecting a difficult game.
“There must be a willingness to make it through to the next round. We must not underestimate Frosinone, who despite being in Serie B have kept the same squad as last season.

“We’ll need grit and determination to make it to the game against Roma.”
The coach then refused to say whether he would ring the changes on Thursday.
“I wouldn’t talk about a big turnover in the team tomorrow. The boys deserve to play after the work they put in in training.”
D’Aversa recently celebrated three years at the Tardini, so how does he feel about it?
“I’ve read a lot praising my work in recent times, thank you to everyone. Three years ago I would have never thought that I could do all of this.
“In football however, the past counts for little, what matters is the present.”
Finally, the 44-year-old stressed this was a big challenge for both sides, regardless of their current positions.
“This is a big game for both sides, regardless of our histories in recent years. Both sides want to get a result and progress to the next round.”
Parma are currently eighth in Serie A, whilst Frosinone are 10th in the second tier.
