Reports in Spain suggest that Fiorentina have set their sights on Celta Vigo’s talented youth striker Miguel Rodriguez.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the 20-year-old is negotiating for a new deal with his current club, but the Viola hope to intercept and poach him for a cheap price.

This is possible because his contract only runs to the end of the current campaign.

Rodriguez is a very versatile attacking player, able to work as a centre-forward, on the right or the left wing.

He has three goals in five caps for Spain at Under-19 level and last season found the back of the net eight times with two assists in 27 appearances for the Celta Vigo reserves.

The youngster played seven games for the senior Celta Vigo squad and was able to score against Sevilla.
