Fiorentina have officially sold Joshua Brillante to Sydney FC, returning the player to Australia after two years in Italy.
The 23-year-old was picked up by Fiorentina in the summer of 2014, after promising spells with Goldcoast United and the Newcastle Jets.
Unfortunately Serie A proved a harsh step up for the midfielder, who was loaned to Empoli and then to Serie B side Como.
