The Viola are struggling to put together a string of positive results and the club manager confirmed the team will enter a retreat after the 6-0 defeat to Napoli.

Crotone are bottom of the Serie A table but only six points behind Fiorentina at 14th and arrive after a convincing 4-1 win over Benevento.

“Yesterday we gave the day off, but some players came to train,” Dainelli told the club’s official website.

“The match against Crotone on Saturday will be very important and the players are preparing for it in the best way.

“Tomorrow, we will enter a retreat one day early. After the defeat in Naples it’s normal that there’s a lot of bitterness in the environment.

“We held a series of meetings to get the problems out and find the solutions to get out of this situation.”
