Fiorentina hope to swoop for Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia, while Valencia are said to be interested in Lucas Martinez Quarta.

The Viola had a successful campaign, reaching the Final of both the Europa Conference League and Coppa Italia.

They showed a distinct problem converting their chances into goals and this is why coach Vincenzo Italiano has set his sights on Salernitana striker Dia.

He scored 16 goals in 33 Serie A games last season and Salernitana bought him outright from Villarreal for €12m.

There is a release clause in the contract set at €25m and Fiorentina will try to negotiate that down by including a player exchange, such as Jonathan Ikone or Riccardo Sottil.

Meanwhile, Radio Esport claim that Fiorentina defender Martinez Quarta is a target for Valencia and that the Argentina international is eager to make that move.

His current contract with the Viola runs to June 2025, but he has dropped down the pecking order at the Stadio Artemio Franchi of late.
