Fiorentina patron Diego Della Valle has warned clubs interested in Stevan Jovetic to approach them with respect if they have any hope of signing the star.
The Viola took the decision to keep the Montenegro international in the summer after interest from Juventus and Manchester City, but he’ll undoubtedly continue to be a wanted man.
“My brother [President Andrea Della Valle] has already said, in all languages, that Jovetic is staying in Florence,” Diego noted.
“It’s not the first time that my family have decided to keep champions at this club when that is necessary.
“All I will say is that whoever wants to negotiate a deal for Jovetic needs to ring the club’s doorbell with education and then ask us what we think with education.
“Whoever decides not to do that won’t get on very well with us…”
The 22-year-old forward has scored four goals in six Serie A games so far this season.
