Luis Figo visited Inter for the Fiorentina game and said “we fans hope for a climb back up the table, just as the players do.”
The Nerazzurri crashed out of the Europa League in the group phase and are struggling mid-table in Serie A, still looking for the first win under new Coach Stefano Pioli.
“The season started amid difficulties and the position Inter are in right now is not what the whole world expects,” Figo told Inter Channel.

Inter invested heavily in players like Gabigol and Joao Mario, but they are on the bench this evening.
“They are strong. Inter have always had great players, but the important thing is the team. Great players can only decide some games, but the team is what allows you to achieve your objectives.
“I haven’t spoken to Joao Mario, but he has a lot of experience, even if he still needs to adapt to Italian football. He will help Inter reach great heights.”
