Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero confirms Ante Budmir is “close” and Roberto Soriano won’t join Napoli.
The Blucerchiati patron was interviewed by Sky, and gave an update on the transfer targets for next season.
“Budmir I can say is close, I don’t worry about these things though,” Ferrero shrugged.
“Soriano to Napoli? I don’t think it’s possible. There’s been no offer for him, and the transfer window isn’t open yet.

Budimir scored 16 goals while on loan with Crotone last season.
