Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero hits out at Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri – “he’s a disappointment.”
The Partenopei boss stated after the draw with Genoa that the Marassi pitch “made it difficult to play football” as well as bemoaning the failure to give “a clear penalty on Higuain”.
The Blucerchiati share the stadium with their city rivals, and the patron was not happy with Sarri’s comments.

“I thought he would be a symbol of change,” Ferrero told ANSA.
“Instead he’s a disappointment. He’s the same as the others, and uses the same excuses of the old football about referees and pitches.
“I want to point out that the field at [Stadio Luigi] Ferraris has been relaid, and Sampdoria and Genoa have spent €1.5m.”
