Fenerbahce are trying again for Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao, who is also in talks with Atalanta, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The centre-back had seemingly been on the verge of a move to Turkey a few weeks ago, but that collapsed when they failed to agree personal terms or a deal with Udinese.

This allowed Atalanta to step in and make their own proposal, edging towards a transfer.

However, Sky Sport Italia claim this evening that Fenerbahce have dived back into the race with a new and improved bid in the region of €12m.

The Brazilian is down to the last year of his contract with Udinese, where he has been since the summer of 2019, so they need to make a sale in order to avoid losing him for free next year.

Becao had also been linked with Torino, who were priced out of the running, while Inter instead secured Yann-Auriel Bisseck from Aarhus.
