The Brazilian defender walked away from his Parma contract after going unpaid all season, and discusses the situation at the club.
“At Parma we tried,” Felipe reflected in an interview with Inter Channel.
“My former teammates still are. I was there for a year and a half.
“It’s a delicate situation, I chose to terminate my deal, as did [Antonio] Cassano. I couldn’t live well with what was happening.
“Others are still struggling and they’re working to ensure things like this don’t happen elsewhere. It’s really difficult to live with.”
The 30-year-old has a deal until the end of the season, but declares that he wants to win a longer deal at San Siro.
“It happened all of a sudden [the move], I hope to give the Coach [Roberto Mancini], some selection headaches.
“I’m physically fit now, but I’m missing that match sharpness. My goal is to win a starting spot, and I’ll give everything for this shirt.
“It’s very emotional to wear this shirt, Inter are very well-known in Brazil.”
