Borussia Mönchengladbach Coach Lucien Favre respects Lazio, but is confident “we can go through” to the next Europa League stage.

The two teams meet in Germany on Thursday evening in the first leg of the Round of 32.

“We are playing against a strong side with many individual talents, so we must be at our best both in attack and defence,” said Favre in his Press conference.

“It is a great shame that Miroslav Klose cannot take part, as in Germany we were really hoping to see him play,

“His replacement, Sergio Floccari, is an interesting player and we’ve studied many of his DVDs, so we know he can create problems.

“It will not be an easy game, as the Italian teams are very tactically gifted. In any case, we create a great deal too, so we can win and go through.”
