Everton are suddenly the favourites for Roma full-back Alessandro Florenzi, ahead of Atalanta and Fiorentina.
According to Tele Radio Stereo, Carlo Ancelotti has asked the Toffees to make a bid for the Italy international.
Florenzi is a Roma man born and bred, but did not fit into coach Paulo Fonseca’s tactics and was loaned out to Valencia in January.
He is now looking for a new adventure on a more permanent basis and Everton are the most likely option.

Atalanta and Fiorentina would struggle with his salary, claims the report, while he wouldn’t have to face his beloved Giallorossi when wearing the Everton jersey.
Florenzi is a 29-year-old right-back, although in his career he has played at left-back, on the right or left of midfield, or in a trident attack.
