“Obviously, there’s a lot that has changed this season: new Coach, new players. We’re happy to put ourselves at the disposal of Maurizio Sarri and his new style of football,” Emre Can told Tuttosport.
“I have no preferences between Sarri and Max Allegri, I just try to do my best. I can take on many midfield roles, as long as I get to help the team and do my part, I don’t really mind where I play. The important thing is that I stay fit.
“Competition for places is a good thing, as the more champions we have in the squad, the better. If you play for a side like Juventus, you know that you’re going to have to fight for your chance.”
Juve won their eighth consecutive Scudetto, so will they be focusing primarily on the Champions League this year?
“At Juventus, you must win as many trophies as possible. Everyone who works for the club knows that. Serie A is very important, and very difficult, as there are so many games.
“We want to repeat our Scudetto success, do well in the Coppa Italia and try to give our all in the Champions League too,” continued Emre Can.
“We know it won’t be easy. Inter are a very strong side and there are others who are built to challenge for the Scudetto.”
