Urby Emanuelson is optimistic about Milan’s chances when they entertain Roma at San Siro on Monday.
The Rossoneri have won only three games at home all season in Serie A, but the Dutchman believes the Diavolo can end Roma’s unbeaten record.
“The next matches against Roma and Inter are really important,” the versatile player told Milan Channel on Friday.
“Roma are a good team, with quality in their side, but I think when we play at home we can beat anyone.”
Milan will go into the game on the back of their crucial 0-0 Champions League draw with Ajax, a tie they played with 10 men.
“Our tactics changed when Riccardo Montolivo was sent off,” stated the former Fulham man.
“I knew it would be a difficult game because Ajax are a fit side and play well. Anyway, I am happy because in the end it is only the result that counts.”
Milan are presently ninth in the standings, 14 points adrift of the Champions League zone.
