Rodrigo Ely will fly back from Milan’s US tour after suffering a thigh injury.
The Rossoneri take on Liverpool tonight in Santa Clara, but the centre-back will fly back to Italy after getting injured in training.
“AC Milan announces that during the training at San Francisco State University the 28th July, Rodrigo Ely has suffered an injury to his left thigh flexor,” a statement on the club’s official website announced.

“The player will fly back to Italy and will undergo medical exams to verify the extent of the injury.”
The 22-year-old made just four appearances for the Diavolo last season, and missed the last few months of the campaign with a sprained ankle.
