“We are not in a positive moment in terms of results, but I expected this dip in form, as the squad has such a young average age,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“Tomorrow we are facing a Chievo side who are certainly not an easy opponent, but we must get back on track. It is our duty to get back on track.
“We will try to impose our style of football on the game and naturally aim to win.”
Sassuolo are without a Serie A victory since beating Inter at San Siro on January 10, but received a boost with the return to fitness of midfielder Simone Missiroli.
“He is our little Pogba in the way he interprets the attacking and defending phases,” said Di Francesco.
“Gregoire Defrel is the most versatile of our strikers, as he can also play behind the striker in a 4-2-4 or out wide.
“I am convinced the results will come. Against Palermo we had over 30 crosses, we just didn’t finish the chances.”
