The race for his signature now seems to be a straight battle between PSG and Chelsea after Palermo made it clear that he would be sold.

"I'm on holiday so I don't know anything about PSG or Chelsea," the Argentine international commented.

"I have my agent working on it."

Nevertheless, reports in the peninsula are insisting that the 22-year-old playmaker is heading for Ligue 1.

Paris SG director Leonardo has been in talks with Rosanero officials this week and a deal is on the verge of completion.

It's claimed that Palermo, who had insisted the youngster was worth €50m, will accept €45m from the French capital outfit.
