Blerim Dzemaili is reportedly in line to take Marek Hamsik’s place in the Napoli team tonight, and for a new contract.

Slovakia international Hamsik has struggled for form of late for Rafa Benitez’s team and is seen by the Corriere dello Sport as likely to drop out of the first XI for this evening’s trip out to face Torino.

Dzemaili is believed in contention to take his role in advanced midfield, with reports also indicating that the Swiss is in line for a contract extension at the San Paolo.

It is believed that there have been preliminary meetings held between the parties with a view to extending the 27-year-old’s contract beyond its current June 2015 expiry.
