After being on the verge of a transfer to Juventus, Edin Dzeko is now said to be negotiating a contract extension at Roma.
The 34-year-old has been in the Capital since 2015 and only signed a new deal in August 2019, following weeks of negotiations with Inter.
That situation repeated itself this summer, with Juve seemingly striking a deal with both player and club, but that fell apart when his replacement Arkadiusz Milik failed to agree an exit from Napoli.

Now the Corriere dello Sport claims that Dzeko will follow the same pattern, going from an imminent exit to signing an extension at Roma.
His current contract runs to June 2022 and the Bosnia-Herzegovina hitman is increasingly likely to see out the rest of his career in the Giallorossi jersey.
He has played 224 competitive games for the club, scoring 106 goals.
