Roma pair Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham are both due in for medical examinations in Rome later this afternoon after both picked up suspected injuries in the 1-0 Europa League loss to Feyenoord on Thursday evening.
Dybala went down with an abductor problem at the top of his right thigh just 24 minutes into the quarter-final first leg at the Stadion Feijenoord.
Abraham then collided with a defender 14 minutes into the second half and appeared to be clutching his right shoulder in a great deal of pain.
Jose Mourinho and his squad left Rotterdam this morning and are expected to arrive in Rome shortly and then head straight to Trigoria for lunch and a training session around 14.00 (UK time).
Dybala and Abraham will be visited as soon as they arrive, writes Corriere dello Sport, and the results of these tests will determine the extent of their respective injuries and subsequent recovery periods.
Corriere predicts that both will be absent for the game against Udinese in Serie A on Sunday evening, but could potentially target a return in the second leg of the tie against Feyenoord on Thursday if the assessments come back with positive results.
Abraham has slightly more of a chance of being available for the league fixture on Sunday according to the report.
